Every 7 years, the IPCC (Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Climate Evolution) - established in 1988 by the World Meteorological Organization (OMM) and the United Nations Environment (UNEP) program - releases a scientific report on climate change, their implications and future risks. Composed of more than 3,000 pages (40 pages for the summary given to political decision-makers), the IPCC is a meta-analysis of several research papers already out (14,000 studies, 234 authors, 66 countries represented). Organized in 3 components, this first publication will be supplemented by the reports of groups 2 and 3 on the consequences and solutions, coming out respectively in February then in March 2022. To allow the employees of the headquarters to better understand this report, Enerlis organized the animation of two conferences with the intervention of Anatole Chouard, creator of a Youtube channel " at Anatole ". 40 employees were thus able to benefit from an informed presentation of around thirty minutes to better understand the organization of the IPCC, the composition of the report and the scientific facts to remember. One of the main conclusions of this last report is the unequivocal human influence on warming the atmosphere, the oceans and the land.
