Performance Guaranteed Contract (ESCO)

BENEFIT FROM AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH.

INNOVATIVE APPROACH

Accelerating the energy transition requires the mobilization of significant financial resources. At Enerlis, we offer a global approach based on the ESCO model: thanks to this form of performance guarantee contract, Enerlis finances the energy performance of your buildings and is paid on part of the energy savings made.

This innovative model, in which the principal does not need to invest or go into debt, is already widespread in Europe and the United States. Enerlis wishes to develop it in France.

The advantages of the
performance guarantee

A global approach

Improving the energy performance of a building is the result of a global approach, which addresses efficiency issues from downstream to upstream: energy audit and carbon footprint, studies, legal and financial engineering, implementation works, operation and maintenance of installations, energy management and energy management. The Enerlis teams, a global operator in the energy transition, are able to support you throughout the entire value chain of your project.

Guaranteed energy performance

On the basis of an energy audit and various figures, Enerlis guarantees its client a certain level of energy savings in euros, every year for the duration of the contract, as well as the investments necessary for the proper functioning of the equipment. installed.

Painless financing

Enerlis finances the necessary initial investments (works, equipment) as well as future energy savings. It is remunerated by retaining part of the energy savings generated, as part of a long-term contract.

Enerlis' remuneration can be done in three ways:

• A variable fee, when the savings potential is significant and alone ensures the profitability of the project.
• A fixed fee, particularly when the site is complex to monitor in terms of energy management.
• A fixed fee combined with a variable fee on the savings made: this is the most common case.

Our clients' objectives

Our clients' objectives

To accelerate the energy transition, Enerlis supports its customers: • Control of their energy-related operating costs • Compliance with CSR consumption reduction objectives. • Valorization of their real estate assets.

Sobriety, efficiency, decarbonization

Sobriety, efficiency, decarbonization

Enerlis customers must face three challenges: • Energy sobriety, which Enerlis supports by offering audits or BMS. • Energy efficiency, which Enerlis reinforces in particular through insulation, relamping or HVAC work. • Decarbonization that Enerlis implements through carbon assessments or the installation of ENR.

Tertiary decree

Tertiary decree

Tertiary buildings of more than 1,000 m² must comply with the tertiary decree. This involves choosing a reference year and putting in place action plans to achieve reduction objectives (-40% from 2030). The Enerlis performance guarantee contract is a secure solution to guarantee your regulatory compliance and maximize your savings.

FAQs

A question?

The advantages of an Esco-type approach are numerous: you are contractually assured of improving the energy performance of your buildings without needing to invest or go into debt. Enerlis is paid for part of the energy savings generated by its intervention. Enerlis experts are able to intervene across the entire value chain, from energy audits to consumption management.

The performance guarantee contract offered by Enerlis is a form of improved CPE. According to the European directive of the European Parliament of October 25, 2012, the CPE is “a contractual agreement between the beneficiary and the supplier of a measure aimed at improving energy efficiency, verified and monitored throughout the duration of the contract, terms of which investments (works, supplies or services) to this extent are remunerated according to a level of improvement in energy efficiency which is contractually defined”.

Enerlis is paid on part of the energy savings made by the solutions it has implemented (insulation, BMS, renewable energies, etc.), throughout the duration of the contract.

A guaranteed performance contract is a long-term contract, around twenty years. The duration depends in particular on the ambition and complexity of the project: the more ambitious the latter, the longer the commitment period.

The performance guarantee contract is a contract concluded between a beneficiary (a company or community represented by a project owner carrying out the project) and an operator specializing in energy efficiency such as Enerlis. Enerlis defines itself as an energy services company (Energy Services Company, Esco).
