Enerlis has just been renewed ISO 14001, three years after its first certification. The 14001 standard, which evaluates and regulates an organization's environmental management system, is one of the best-known standards to help companies structure their CSR approach.
Enerlis’ environmental approach
Enerlis, a global player in the energy transition, began to structure its CSR approach in 2018, by joining the French Global Compact network and then notably obtaining the Lucie label in 2021.
On the environmental side, ISO 14001 certification has made it possible to regulate its environmental commitments, now well anchored in the company's strategy. Today, Enerlis pursues a global environmental policy consisting of:
- From its ISO 14001 certification;
- A climate strategy, SBTi certified;
- An energy sobriety plan.
As part of its ISO 14001 certification, Enerlis pursues 8 main objectives, monitored and evaluated annually as part of surveillance audits.
An approach rewarded by EcoVadis
Last year, in 2023, Enerlis was rewarded for its environmental performance with a score of 80/100 on the environment and a gold medal by the extra-financial platform EcoVadis.
With this score (71/100 overall), the Enerlis Group places itself in the top 5% of companies in its sector evaluated by EcoVadis. This assessment is based on 21 CSR criteria divided between four fundamental themes: Environment, Social and Human Rights, Ethics and Responsible Purchasing.
