As part of its membership in the France Global Compact network, Enerlis, a global player in the energy transition, has demonstrated the commitment of small and medium-sized businesses to the climate.
Enerlis' signature, “undertaking a new energy world” embodies the vision of a low-carbon future and more broadly that of a more sustainable and balanced world. This is expressed on a daily basis in the services we offer to our customers to reduce their environmental footprint and is also illustrated more generally through our CSR approach, anchored at the heart of our strategy. We thus wish to show that it is possible to combine growth and positive environmental and social impact.
Focus on Enerlis’ climate strategy
Enerlis has defined its climate strategy in 2022, based on lessons learned from the Carbon Assessment that the company carried out the previous year. This strategy is aligned with the SBTi* certified emissions reduction trajectory to limit the increase in global temperature to 1.5°C.
A member of the France Global Compact network since 2018, Enerlis has been able to take advantage of the tools and framework offered by the organization to structure its ambition and its approach. The company notably participated in two working groups to accelerate its climate commitments ( SDG Ambition, Climate Ambition Accelerator ).
Enerlis' climate commitments are therefore today integrated into a specific policy which has already borne fruit. Over the year 2023, several significant projects have been implemented: energy sobriety, digital sobriety, greening of the vehicle fleet, measures relating to responsible purchasing, raising employee awareness of climate challenges, etc.
It is in this context that Enerlis was interviewed by the Pacte Mondial network France, to demonstrate the concrete commitment of SMEs/ETIs in favor of the climate. Today, the future of Enerlis is intrinsically linked to the climate and it is our responsibility to increasingly support our customers towards energy efficiency and climate resilience.
To go further, Enerlis is currently working on its climate report according to the recommendations of the TCFD, to study climate-related opportunities and risks and fully integrate them into our strategy and risk management.
*The SBTi (Science Based Target) initiative, supported by the United Nations and the WWF, aims to help companies align with the objectives of the Paris Agreements (limiting global warming to +1.5°).
