Enerlis sponsor committed to combating energy poverty with Sol Solidaire

Combining social and environmental progress to combat energy poverty

Today, around 7 million households are affected by energy poverty in France and therefore experience particular difficulties in having the energy supply necessary to satisfy their basic needs.

The Sol Solidaire association, launched by 6 founding members – ADEME, the law firm De Gaulle Fleurance et Associés, the professional union Enerplan, the BPCE Group, the Tecsol design office and the Union Sociale pour Habitat – aims to reduce energy poverty through solar energy.
The association supports social landlords in the renovation of their stock by subsidizing the installation of solar panels on the roofs of HLM housing, in order to produce solar energy and distribute it free of charge to the residents of the social housing concerned.

**Review of the association's first call for projects**

Patron of the association since its creation, Enerlis participated during the HLM Congress in Bordeaux at the end of September in the presentation of the results of the first call for Sol Solidaire projects, in the presence of the beneficiary social landlords.
In total, 500 social housing units will soon be equipped with solar panels, which will allow tenants to save up to 20% on their electricity bills. Launch of the 2021 call for projects

Sol Solidaire has just launched the 2021 call for projects in order to collect applications from social housing stakeholders who would like to benefit from the system and allow their tenants to reduce their energy bill.

Applications open until January 6, 2022 inclusive , more information here .
