Thierry Martin talks to us about low-carbon hydrogen

The development of low-carbon hydrogen is an important building block of the energy transition and the France Relance Plan. It creates opportunities to reduce emissions in the transport sector (heavy mobility, replacing oil).

Decarbonizing mobility is therefore a topic of today: regions, communities, departments and cities, but also companies are preparing to welcome virtuous mobility based on electricity and hydrogen.

Thierry Martin, co-founder of Enerlis, was on the set of the Smart Impact show on B Smart to answer questions from Thomas Hugues on the future of the low-carbon hydrogen sector in mobility.

Thierry Martin outlined Enerlis' ambition to ultimately become a major player in the sector, mainly in the mobility segments thanks to GreenHy, the subsidiary of the Enerlis group.

Indeed, GreenHy© by Enerlis offers to supply and deliver low-carbon hydrogen, in gaseous and compressed state, to service stations to deploy green mobility within regions and businesses.

This hydrogen is produced by the electrolysis process of a brine powered by electricity of largely carbon-free origin. After several purification stages, the hydrogen is compressed to a pressure of 350 bars and packaged in containers provided for this purpose then transported to the distribution stations.
